Since submission

Last Friday was the day! Finally completed my year-long dissertation on The Rooftop Garden! Wheee~

And the most tedious part for me was actually the printing of coloured pages! OMG cost me a bomb! Mr Loke said I can submit a thesis on recycled paper already. Just look at the stack of defective pages! Now I know I should convert to pdf format and print all! Shall do that for final copy:)
Really thanks to Xu Wen too for waiting before we could have lunch and for your ez link card:)

Of course, xie xie Mr Loke for helping me with the box and whisker graphs, last minute changes and printing of the coloured pages! :D
F..i...n...a...l...l...y.... My baby:)
After submission, there's no time to waste so spring cleaned my room on both Fri and CNY eve! Only managed to complete it right before reunion dinner:)

Dissertation totally robbed me of my pre-CNY preparation time. Luckily, its just this one time:)

I can finally enjoy CNY:) And also make use of this short mid-term break to rejuvenate and relax abit:) There's still assignment and projects on the waiting list.

So meanwhile, I'm looking forward to CNY@Msia tomorrow and the many gatherings that are lined up for the week!:D

Have a happy tiger new year and sweet valentine's day:)

The Run on Sun:)

Run for my Lunch!

Yeah we completed our 1st 3km together!:) Though it's not like 10km, it's still our 1st run together and we did (only) one training together haha.. But we did train on our own as we don't have any common free day this sem.

I really have to applaud ourselves! Cos we were eating supper at Bedok 85 with Dawn, Xu Wen, Deon and Ernest the night before till 2am plus.

I really thought I would just laze on bed and skip the run totally haha.. Luckily LokeX2 managed to wake me up, as he always do:)
Us after the non-stop 3km run! Whee~

Xie xie ni de gu li:D
I like his number 1717 - 一起一起:)
I love the wind blowing on my face:) Like a reward for completing the run:)
I'm glad we signed up and completed the run:) Most importantly we also helped to raise funds for the lunch of the less-fortunate:)

Hope this will set off the momentum for me to keep jogging:)

After the run, he went back to catch some sleep before we embarked on our CNY shopping at Bugis with his siblings:)
Settled his CNY clothes and I still need more shopping! *quick quick finish dissertation!*

And also overdue but post-worthy photos:)

A week before the actual run, we went for a run together for almost 30minutes and were looking forward to our mini treat at Green Room Cafe:)
Then came a sms from Dawn asking where is Green Room Cafe! Turned out they were thinking of eating it too! So we waited for them:)

We had the highly recommended Creamy Avocado by Wan Xin. It was REALLY nice!:D I never like and have never tried avocado before so this turned out to be unexpected yummy!:D Should try it!

We had laksa, portobello mushroom burger and baked rice! All are super yummy and guilt-free!:D
Our coincidental dinner dates together:)
Cheers to healthy lifestyle:)

Cheers to the coming CNY!:)

Double 1st:):)

Last Friday I had my double 1st!:D

My 1st manicure!

Acrylic sculpture extension somemore!:D

Seeing so many bloggers recommending Jenny from Twinkle Nailz and coupled with the attractive promotions, I was so tempted to try!:)

LengX2's wedding and CNY gave me a good reason to do so!:D I was so excited!

I admit I'm really slow, havn't even done any manicure before. Cos I always think normal manicure is not that worth the money, especially for budget-tight me.

After my 1st attempt at acrylic sculpture extension, I must say I would rather spend the money on it coupled with intricate nail arts:)

Though my nails are still considered long enough, but they always split/break very easily especially during shower:( So acrylic nails can grant me long, hardy nails!

There's so many colours to choose! Finally decided on something cheery but not too pinky.

I especially love the acrylic flowers coupled with the rainbow bling bling:) And they are so much hardier than they seemed to be! Hope it will stay till CNY is over! Haha:)
I must say Jenny is such a lovely lady to chat with:) The long hours didn't feel that long actually! We practically talked about anything under the sun!:) She is also really patient with me, especially when I asked her questions and took a really long time to select the colours. Really added bonus:)

Though I'm not actually paid to advertise for her, personally I think it's really worth a try and TwinkleNailz is my recommendation:) Every girl can now have beautiful, long and hardy nails!:D

After beautifying my nails, I rushed over to meet Deon, Wan Xin and Yueting for Amei AMIT Concert! OMG! Super excited!

1st Amei Concert!:D

Thanks Wan Xin for helping us get such a great deal for the tickets!:D Totally worth the money!
Though I couldn't capture Amei on camera, the stage effects said it all!:D
Fully hyped up and satisfied!:D
AMIT is the best!:D Her live singing power is goddess! Even better than recorded version, really!:D Hope she will be back in Sg in 2 years time!:D
January has been an eventful month! And it's only the 1st month of year 2010! Yeah! I love it when I'm living my life to the fullest!:) Still got more events to be posted!

And dissertation is finally completing:) Whee~ Can't wait! So many things that I want to do (and have to do - assignments):)

Inspiration of the day (as read from Zen Habits)
"Everyday, think as you wake up, ‘today I am fortunate to have woken up, I am alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others, to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings, I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others, I am going to benefit others as much as I can.’ [Dalai Lama]"
