Wait...

Pause.

Am I really in a rush?

Does that few minutes or seconds make much difference?

Wait.

Practicing on my patience.

Thanks to those and to the traffic lights at the road linking Junction 8 to the bus interchange for creating opportunities for me to practice being patient in this hectic, fast-paced society.

I can feel the calmness and the peace within myself already. Rejoice=)

Perhaps it is the world that we are living in.. Perhaps it is the way we are brought up.. Perhaps it is the environment that we are in.. Perhaps it is just ourself..

Everything must be fast.. Fast things are good things.. Do we really have the patience??

Sometimes we need to reflect on things that we do.. A simple example will be to be punctual for a meeting. that is the best way to train your patience because most people will not adhere to the time because of the fact that we can just change the meeting time as and when with just a call or sms..

if only they were to remember 'by being late, you are trying to say that my time is more important that your time so wait for me..'

=D

interesting~ yeap true! definitely we shld treasure time=) we shld aim to leave each moment well=) this is where we can control=)

however when things doesnt happen the way it shld be, it is an area beyond our control. Guess it doesnt really help by focusing on this area.

Perhaps it is better to focus our energy on our own thinking and reactions to these unforeseen circumstances.

As mentioned in the dharma, we shld be thankful to all these nasty things that pop out quite often. They are our teachers actually, providing opportunities to practice the middle path. =)
